Courtney Hazlett is an Edinburgh-based food and drink blogger who hopes to make sure you have a tasty time whenever you visit.

She filled us in on her favourite foodie spots in the capital for burgers, afternoon tea and an all-round great meal.

Butta Burger

For me, Butta Burger has got to be my number one burger spot in Edinburgh. I’ve been a fan since they first opened and somehow they just keep getting better and better!

Their chicken burgers are massive, crispy, juicy and smothered in the tastiest homemade sauces. My personal favourite is the Chicken Chilli Cheese.

Their beef burgers are made with Scottish wagyu beef and are unbelievable. I’d definitely add the beef gravy drip to elevate your burger experience too.

They even have great vegan options so everyone can enjoy their time at Butta!

The Dunstane Restaurant

Who doesn’t love a relaxing afternoon tea? Well if that sounds like your cup of tea, I can’t recommend The Dunstane Restaurant inside the Roseate enough! The inside and the outside is stunning so no matter where you’re seated to enjoy this, you can soak in the beautiful atmosphere.

The cocktails here are delicious, but the food is show stopping. You get a couple of hot starters and then your afternoon tea tower is brought out. This has all the classics, but with a sophisticated twist. I can’t pick a favourite part because everything was perfect.

Dine Murrayfield

My favourite dining experience recently was at Dine Murrayfield. This place is chic, relaxed dining that has a local neighborhood restaurant feel. I loved sitting here catching up with friends, and then the food came.

Everything I’ve tried here has been out of this world delicious! The menu changes frequently and is curated by the head chef.

I can’t quite put into words just how good this food was but I highly recommend Dine to anyone looking for somewhere to eat really tasty food in a chilled out environment.
