OUTLANDER heart-throb Sam Heughan took a rare day-off from filming the hit TV series to face cameras of a different sort in the Highlands – those of The Adventure Show.
And Sam was stunned and overwhelmed by the beauty of the area’s scenery.
He was in the Highlands last weekend to join well-known Newtonmore-based adventurer Cameron McNeish for a day out in the Monadh Liath mountains.
Executive producer Richard Else said: “We were filming in full winter conditions, but had a fantastic day with everything from snow flurries to magnificent summit views in all directions.
“He kept looking around and saying ‘wow’.”
