Suzuki brings Attitude to Swift range

Suzuki has brought a brawnier edge to the Swift range with a new special edition — Attitude.

This version of the Swift gets racier looks and high levels of standard equipment, and is positioned as an option for ‘younger buyers who may perhaps be looking to aspire to the Sport in the future’.

Building on SZ3 specification — which brings air conditioning, DAB radio with Bluetooth, rear privacy glass, a leather steering wheel and LED daytime running lights to the hatch — Attitude adds two-tone 16-inch alloy wheels, front foglamps, a mesh front grille, a rear spoiler and carbon effect trim around the car’s exterior.

Powering the Swift Attitude is Suzuki’s naturally-aspirated 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. It produces 89bhp and 120Nm, with that power sent to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox.

As a result, the 0-60mph sprint is covered in 11.7 seconds with a top speed of 112mph possible. Suzuki claims it can return 61.4mpg on the combined cycle, while emitting 106g/km.

For no extra cost, customers can opt for a Fervent Red solid colour option — while Pure White, Premium Silver, Super Black, Mineral Grey and Burning Red are all available as a £485 addition.

Now on sale, the Suzuki Swift Attitude is available from £13,499. The firm is also offering a zero-per cent PCP finance deal on the hatch, with a £500 manufacturer contribution — resulting in 48 monthly payments of £155.
