Our family-run venue is all about relaxed, friendly and intimate weddings. 30 guests can be seated in The Bothy, however we can set up our stretch tent and accommodate up to 80 guests if the dinner is not seated. Our couples and their guests enjoy exclusive use of the grounds and up to 26 guests can be accommodated on site in 6 pretty cottages. Further accommodation is available close by if you have more guests.
You can kick off your weekend of celebrations with a first night supper in The Bothy or a BBQ at The Dell, or you can hire in a street food seller to serve your guests. We can recommend lots of different catering options throughout the weekend, just let us know what you like. On your wedding day you can say ‘I do’ in the gardens during the summer or The Bothy in the winter.

Wedding Wise
The Wedding Wise journey started back in 2010 as a small boutique type shop in Barrhead operating on a one to one appointment only basis. The premises could only stock a limited amount of gowns and therefore allowed Elaine to focus very carefully on her customers and choose designer stock very wisely.
This foundation of hard work and quality of personal service was recognised quickly and allowed Wedding Wise to grow and become successful. Very soon we were looking for new premises to satisfy the expansion and found something that would be risky but worth the challenge.
The summer of 2013 brought Wedding Wise to the former Barrhead Registry office premises, a large unoccupied Victorian villa and gardens. The building needed a fair amount of TLC and bringing back to former glory. Wedding Wise set about doing the task with appropriate planning permissions and transformed a dull and tired looking interior into a bright, airy and homely feeling retail outlet.
The premises are unique and have a certain wow factor evident by the numerous customer comments and compliments we consistently hear.
The Wedding Wise name is well known for variety and quality of our designer gowns and accessories but more importantly, in maintaining our high end personal one to one luxury service attention to all brides.
