RANGERS striker Alfredo Morelos is reportedly looking for a pay rise in response to the club rejecting an £8m bid for his services from Beijing Renhe.

The Daily Mail reports that the 21-year-old is one of the lower paid players at Ibrox, and that his agents are seeking talks with director of football Mark Allen.

The Colombian could have seen a huge increase in his earnings with a move to China, which could yet happen as their transfer window remains open until February 28.

Crystal Palace made an 11th hour enquiry for Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, the Scottish Sun reports.

The Hoops did not receive a formal bid for the 21-year-old, who signed a four-year contract at Celtic Park in 2016 after spending three years at Fulham.

The France Under-21s striker was recently reported to be valued at £18 million.

Hibs chief executive Leann Dempster has emerged as the frontrunner to replace Stewart Regan at the Scottish Football Association, according to The National.
