The Spice Girls will be playing a reunion tour in Scotland, currently without Victoria Beckham.

GET ready to spice up your life!

The Spice Girls have confirmed they’ll be bringing back girl power in June 2019 with six shows in a UK tour, including Edinburgh.

Tickets will go on sale this Saturday (10 November) at 10.30am.

Touring together for the first time in a decade, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Horner took to Twitter to announce the news to fans yesterday afternoon.

Emma Bunton also teased her fans about the announcement on her Heart Radio show, Jamie & Emma. She said: “After 3 o’clock today you will find out everything. I’m just so excited. I want it out there. It will be brilliant.”

The Spice Girls have not performed together since the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony in London.

Victoria Beckham aka ‘Posh Spice,’ is not currently expected to take part, as Mel B explained on TV talk show, Loose women. She said: “It’s just the four of us that are fully confirmed, but you know, Vic might join us at some point.

“She’s got a full-on life with all of her work commitments and her fashion line and her kids, so, she’s just kind of not committing just yet.”

The tour will kick off at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on 1 June 2019, and will play Scotland seven days later at the BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.

Jess Glynne is also confirmed to be supporting the tour.
