Exclusive to Amazon, the Winter Wonders Advent calendar from Nivea contains 18 full or travel-size products – from everyday essentials auch as eye make-up remover and deodorant, to face masks shower cream – plus six beauty bonuses including a sleep mask and shower puff.
5. No7 Beauty Advent Calendar, £42, Boots
Packed full of No7 skincare and make-up favourites, and worth £173.50, no wonder this impressive Advent offering racked up a 226,000-strong waiting list before it even launched. Not only does it come with the creme de la creme of the No7 range, seven golden tickets have been hidden in the calendars, with the lucky winners getting £700 to spend on the brand. The No7 calendar is expected to sell out online, but it’s also available in selected Boots stores.

7. The Body Shop Dream Big This Christmas Deluxe Advent Calendar, £65
