Was this the most awkward Come Dine With Me episode EVER?

Come Dine With Me has been on our television for a whopping 37 series’.

We all know how the show works, a bunch of strangers take turns to cook each other a meal in their home, and then they rate the dinner party out of 10.

Peter (left, stripey shirt) didn’t get on with Jane (right, white jacket)

What made this episode so special?

Well, one of the hosts, Peter, did not get on very well with the others.

He took a particular dislike to Jane and his other guests, Charlotte and Adam, got caught in the crossfire.

Jane described him as “pompous” when asked her opinion, and Peter accused her of attacking him.

He received low scores for his dinner after an awkward dinner table argument, but ironically, Jane scored him the highest.

When he announced himself as the loser, and Jane the winner, things got really awkward.

Peter kicked off, and said “Dear lord, what a sad little life Jane. You ruined my night, completely, so you could have the money.

“I hope now you spend it on lessons in grace and decorum.”

We could barely look at the TV, it was so cringe-worthy!

Viewers could not believe what they were seeing, as Peter then told her to get off his property.

So, seeing as they were chucked out, they all went outside to drink champagne in the street!

We think poor Pete, or “poisonous Pete” as Jane called him, was a bit of a sore loser.
