SSE Scottish Music Awards announce The Script, Frightened Rabbit and Gary Clark as final nominees for 2018 ceremony

THE final nominees for this year’s SSE Scottish Music Awards have been announced.

The Script, Frightened Rabbit and Gary Clark are all up for awards at the event on December 1.

Irish band The Script are nominated for Best International Artist sponsored by Specsavers, while Frightened Rabbit are up for the Song Writing Award sponsored by King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut.

Dundonian songwriter, musician and producer Gary Clark is nominated for the Music Business Award, sponsored by the Sir Reo Stakis Foundation.

These artists join a host of nominees from across the country including Eclair Fifi, Annie Lennox and Mark Knopfler, with the guitar legend performing on the night.

Also performing are nominees Snow Patrol, Tom Grennan and Susan Boyle.
