Find out where you can order a bottle of this tasty new softdrink.

It’s now easier to get your hands on Scoffable BREW, with dozens of restaurants and takeaways stocking the premium softdrink without artificial sweeteners.

More than 60 selected takeaways across Scotland now have bottles of the drink created by the same people who came up with Scoffable, the easy order takeaway app launched back in 2010.

Most of the takeaways carrying the BREW are in West Lothian, Glasgow and Edinburgh, allowing more people to order individual bottles to enjoy with their delivered meals.

Initially, the drink was available exclusively on Scoffable’s online shop.

Michael Brown, co-founder of Scoffable, says: “It’s selling pretty well. We’re hoping we can get it into more of our takeaways and that people start buying it regularly. Then we want to get it into some small supermarkets and get the scale up.”

There is definitely room for growth. The Livingston-based company is a partner of around 600 takeaways across the country, matching restaurants and takeaways with hungry diners treating themselves to delicious meals.

Scoffable BREW: treat yourself!

Last April, Scoffable launched its very own BREW that does not contain any artificial sweeteners yet has that full sugar flavour.

The company makes it clear it supports a healthy lifestyle. But it also wants to fill a gap in the market for a great tasting Scottish-made drink that gives people the choice to treat themselves.

“We just thought it would be nice to have a drink that people could enjoy every now and then in moderation,” explains Michael.

In 2018, companies making soft drinks were forced to reduce the amount of sugar in their recipes or pay a premium due to the implementation of the Soft Drinks Industry Levy or sugar tax in Scotland.

It took Scoffable more than three years to come up with a satisfying drink but it was a labour of love.

Michael shares: “It’s taken us more than three years to make that idea a reality. We’ve painstakingly perfected the recipe, making tweaks in tasting trial after tasting trial, until we were comfortable that we’ve got something that tastes exactly as we wanted.”

The result is Scoffable BREW, a sparkling drink that has an authentic flavour without the harsh aftertaste associated with some artificial sweeteners.

It doesn’t contain gluten or soya and it’s suitable for both vegetarian and vegan lifestyles.

It’s also handcrafted in small batches right here in Scotland.

Scoffable BREW is available in 330 ml glass bottles.

You can order a box of 12 bottles on Scoffable BREW’s website.
