Royal Troon will celebrate the centenary of first hosting The Open by welcoming the Championship in 2023.
The course has been announced as the venue for The 152nd Open by the R&A, bringing the prestigious competition to the Ayrshire links for the tenth time.
It was last held in Troon in 2016, and was won by Swedish star Henrik Stenson.

The event will be held between July 20 and 23, 2023.
This year’s Championship is being held at Royal St. George’s in Kent, with St Andrews hosting in 2021.
The 2022 Open will be held at Royal Liverpool.
