GRANT HOLT and Alex Harris are among six players whose departure from Hibernian has been confirmed.

Chris Humphrey is also leaving following his brief spell at Easter Road.

Scott Gallacher, Brian McLean and Jamie Insall have also exited following the club’s Ladbrokes Championship triumph.

Holt was the player who was most involved in the title win, scoring seven goals in 39 appearances throughout the season. The 36-year-old’s exit follows that of fellow forward James Keatings, who has signed a pre-contract agreement with Dundee United.

Reports claim head coach Neil Lennon has held talks with Blackburn striker Anthony Stokes over the prospect of a third spell with Hibs as he looks to bolster his forward line.

Harris made 60 appearances for Hibs after coming through the youth academy but only six this season after spending the previous campaign on loan with Queen of the South.

Humphrey joined in January from Preston but the former Motherwell winger was restricted to eight appearances because of a calf injury and is expected to resume his career in England.

Goalkeeper Gallacher and centre-back McLean arrived on short-term deals during the season amid injury crises in their positions while Insall spent the vast majority of his two years with the club on loan with East Fife.
