Football rumours: Patrick Roberts set to find out if he’ll get to return to Celtic, Chelsea eye Barcelona defender, Zlatan to re-sign for Manchester United

MANCHESTER CITY midfielder Patrick Roberts should find out later whether or not he will be returning to Celtic. 

The Daily Mail reports that the 20-year-old, who wants to have another season on loan in Glasgow, will be in talks over his future today.

City bosses are thought to be more keen on loaning him elsewhere, with Southampton a likely destination.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic could remain in the Premier League, with the Daily Mail reporting the Swedish striker has opened talks over a new deal with Manchester United.

Ibrahimovic scored 28 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils last season before suffering knee ligament damage in April.

United are hoping to make another signing before the end of the transfer window, with the Manchester Evening News claiming the club are continuing their pursuit of Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.

West Ham, who travel to Old Trafford on Sunday, are still looking to add to their squad. The Mirror writes that the Hammers will make a £25m bid for Sporting Lisbon’s Portugal international midfielder William Carvalho.
