Celtic's Scott Brown in action (SNS Group)
CELTIC’S Scott Brown will be free to play against Rangers after winning his appeal against a red card shown to him against Ross County.
The SFA disciplinary tribunal downgraded the Hoops skipper’s dismissal for ‘serious foul play’ to a caution for ‘recklessly dangerous play’.

The red card had been issued by referee Don Robertson for a foul on County striker Liam Boyce.
While Brown will now be able to play at Ibrox, he will miss matches against St Johnstone and Aberdeen as the yellow card puts him over the disciplinary threshold.
