Prince Harry in Game of Thrones: the TV roles that would suit the Royal Family

Post Thumbnail

With Prince Harry having been reportedly offered the chance to appear in Game of Thrones, we look at what other TV roles the Royal Family would be great in.

Prince Harry Game of Thrones

Let’s start with the one that has been reported.

Prince Harry has been offered a cameo on the hit fantasy saga, although it remains unclear as to whether he would see it as suitable given his role in public life.

But never mind all that let’s hope he takes them up on the offer.

And hopefully we will soon see wielding some other-worldly powers in a fight scene!

Kate Made In Chelsea

It might be a little unkind to compare the ‘high society’ of Made In Chelsea to that of St Andrews University, where Kate studied with Will, but there are likely to be a couple of suitable comparisons out there.

Kate would be great in Made In Chelsea she’s definitely got the social standing that many of these characters crave, and she’d be a great shoulder to cry on.

Her advice in relationships and fashion would be invaluable, and she’d probably also be the most down-to-Earth member of the cast.

The Queen Channel 4 Racing

Our monarch has a great passion for horses, and hearing her speak on Channel 4 Racing would be a treat.

The in-race commentary might be best left to the lungs of presenters Mick Fitzgerald and Emma Spencer.

But her tips would be followed by many punters and could have a serious impact on the odds!

Prince William Downton Abbey

There’s so many shows we’d love to see Wills star in, but no more so than Downton Abbey.

Were he to visit Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham (Hugh Bonneville), at the estate for a short stay, it would be fascinating.

Given the time that the series is set (the early 1900s), he may have to appear as one of his ancestors, or at least, a much older relative.

But it would be fun nonetheless!

Prince George Kids Say The Funniest Things

We might have to wait a few years for this one, but when George is a bit older, it’d be great to see him on Kids Say The Funniest Things.

The game show which stars a child and their parent, who has to guess what their youngster has been talking about, would be TV gold.

Seeing either Kate or Wills trying to work out what Prince George is describing would be fantastic.

Prince Charles House Of Cards

OK, the first two series were a bit murderous and dark for the Prince of Wales to star in, but he’d be more at home in the third which was more about the mechanics of government.

Although he’s unlikely to be too involved in the workings of American politics, his letter writing skills would be wonderfully suited to the TV show.

While most messages are relayed through text message and email in the political drama, adding in his eloquent hand-written appeals for worthy causes would be fascinating.

As would the anti-hero Frank Underwood’s responses.
