Perez Hilton was well prepped for a game of Celebrity Big Brother Guess Who?

They pretend it’s all a big secret but two words uttered on Wednesday’s Celebrity Big Brother proved that the new arrivals are told something in advance about the Z-list contestants in the house, so to avoid an embarrassing game of Guess Who? being played on launch night.

“From Baywatch,” exclaimed Nadia Sawalha on being introduced to a man calling himself Jeremy Jackson.

You remember Jeremy? The one from Baywatch (although I’ll allow that if you were a male teenager like me when Baywatch was at its best otherwise known as the Erika Eleniak years you’re unlikely to have had your gaze diverted towards the small boy playing Mitch’s son).

In fact, I reckon David Hasselhoff would struggle to recall the name of the boy that once appeared in a few scenes alongside him, let alone Nadia Sawalha.

Jeremy is now all grown up but, dressed in red boots, a vest and a faux fur coat, hadn’t let maturity enter his wardrobe choices. Ken Morley looked crestfallen that he wasn’t going to be the house’s most colourful dresser.

Elsewhere we had gossip king Perez Hilton, self-designated party host on launch night who’d brushed up on his biographies to be able to tell each new entrant a little bit about themselves on arrival.

“I’m not sure why Perez has come dressed for a combat scenario,” commented the forked tongued Katie Hopkins about Perez’s khaki shirt but I’d suggest Perez had read what Katie was famous for and dressed accordingly.

Indeed Katie had even managed to start a fight when in the house alone. Entering first and being greeted by Big Brother’s Scottish accent she asked if the woman behind the voice had red hair. “I don’t like gingers,” she sneered.

To counter Katie there was Keith Chegwin. “Aren’t people lovely?” he said on entering the house. I doubt he’ll say that as he leaves.
