“It was never a big bust-up where we knocked lumps out of each other.”
Despite their much-talked about break-up, Ford and Greg say they clicked immediately when they decided to work together again.
“It’s just like old times,” Ford insists.
“Within minutes of seeing each other, we were talking again like it was yesterday. It instantly washed away all those missing years and there was no awkwardness.
“We sat down and watched some old episodes of Still Game neither of us had watched it in all those years and we were instantly back to where we left off.
“To be honest, we’ve never been far from each other. Our kids have gone to school together and we still had a business together. It was never a big bust-up where we knocked lumps out of each other, like some of the media made out.
“We’ve been friends for a long time and friendships like that last for life. In fact, I’d say the seven-year gap did us the world of good, because we’ve come back stronger than ever!”
Still Game will be showing at The Hydro from Friday, September 19.
