Keeper Luke McGee is in line to make his debut for Bradford in Saturday’s League Two clash with Scunthorpe after sealing a loan move from Portsmouth.
The 24-year-old former Tottenham trainee has been drafted in until the end of the season after it emerged that Richard O’Donnell is facing four weeks on the sidelines with a damaged hamstring suffered during last weekend’s 2-1 defeat at Crawley.
Clayton Donaldson (foot surgery) and Jamie Devitt (hamstring tendon) are both back in training after long-term injuries and manager Gary Bowyer has confirmed that the latter will be in the squad this weekend.
Harry Pritchard is also available after recovering from a back problem but Zeli Ismail (calf) and Tyler French (knee) are out.
Scunthorpe will be without striker Lee Novak as he begins a three-match ban.
Novak was sent off following an off-the-ball incident 75 minutes into last Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat by Newport.
Manager Paul Hurst will make a series of late decisions with four unnamed players having not trained by Thursday, although defender Rory McArdle, who missed the clash with the Exiles through illness, is available once again.
Kevin Van Veen also sat out against Newport with a dead leg and although he is yet to be ruled out, he has not trained.
