Wrexham have lost James Horsfield for the FA Cup first round tie with Rochdale on Sunday.
The on-loan Scunthorpe defender, who played in the previous round against Chesterfield, suffered suspected ACL knee damage in the closing stages of last weekend’s National League win against Bromley.
Striker JJ Hooper also looks set to miss out with a knee injury, but captain Shaun Pearson has fully recovered from a hamstring problem and midfielder Bobby Grant is available to play against his former club.
Dean Keates will be reluctant to make changes after the 1-0 victory over Bromley secured his first National League win since returning for a second spell as Dragons manager.
Rochdale hope to welcome back Robert Sanchez after the goalkeeper’s five-match absence with a knee injury.
Sanchez was in goal when Dale lost a Carabao Cup penalty shoot-out to Manchester United in September.
Ollie Rathbone and Rhys Norrington-Davies face fitness checks after missing the 1-0 league defeat to Ipswich on Tuesday.
Injured trio Stephen Dooley, Jim McNulty and Tyler Magloire remain out and veteran striker Aaron Wilbraham completes a three-match ban for his recent card at Oxford.
