The family of a motorcyclist killed in a road crash have said they take comfort from how much she meant to the biking community.
Shirley-Ann Barnes, 57, from Kilmarnock, was involved in the incident on Pirnhall Stirling Services roundabout at about 4.45pm on Sunday.
Police said a Yamaha Virago motorbike left the road near the junction for the A872.
She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but died on Thursday.
In a statement released through Police Scotland, her family said: “We have so much hurt in our hearts, but at this sad time we find comfort in how much Shirley-Ann meant to so many people, especially in the biking community.
“She will continue to ride with everyone still, she will be so very missed.”
