Wet Wet Wet.
Wet Wet Wet.

Wet Wet Wet have announced a six-date Scottish tour, following on from their hugely successful UK tour earlier this year.

The band, which includes Graeme Clark, Tommy Cunningham, Neil Mitchell and Kevin Simm, will kick off their Scottish tour at P&J Live in Aberdeen on November 2 this year.

The tour will then see them play the Town House in Hamilton on November 5, Grand Hall in Kilmarnock on November 7, Caird Hall in Dundee on November 8, Usher Hall in Edinburgh on November 9 and finishing up in Inverness on November 10 at Ironworks.

Wet Wet Wet have sold over 15 million albums and singles since bursting onto the scene in Glasgow in 1987, and have spent over 500 weeks in the UK charts.

Graeme Clarke said: “We can’t wait to get about out on the road.

“For us, there’s nothing like coming back to Scotland and playing to the best fans in the world.”

And Tommy Cunningham added: “This is an exciting time for Wet Wet Wet.

“Our fans have been incredibly supportive over the past couple of years and we’ve been blown away by their reaction to Kevin joining the band.

“We wanted to come back home and play these shows as a thank you for the support the fans have shown us.”

Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday (June 28) here.
