Scottish football transfer rumours: Leeds want Rangers midfielder, Celtic will have to up bid for Dundee’s Hendry, Aberdeen’s McLean interests Norwich

LEEDS UNITED are the latest club reportedly interested in bidding for Rangers midfielder Josh Windass.

The Championship side are, according to the Daily Record, ready to better the £500,000 bid Preston had rejected by the Ibrox club earlier this month.


Hearts look to have won the race to sign Steven Naismith on loan from Norwich.

The Scotland striker had been linked with former clubs Kilmarnock and Rangers, but now seems to be heading to Tynecastle.

He could make his debut in Saturday’s cup derby against Hibs. (Daily Record)

Dundee boss Neil McCann reckons young defender Jack Hendry is worth £1.5m, with Celtic preparing to bid for his services.

The Hoops are understood to be set to offer £800,000 at first, with Brendan Rodgers a keen admirer of the 22-year-old. (Daily Record)

Norwich are set to launch a £500,000 bid for Aberdeen midfielder Kenny McLean.

The 26-year-old is out of contract in the summer, with Rangers thought to be keen on a pre-contract deal for the Scotland star.

But the Canaries look set to swoop and secure his signing first. (The Sun)

The Dons, meanwhile, have had a bid rejected for Hamilton’s Michael Devlin, according to the Scottish Daily Mail.


St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright wants to bring Danny Swanson back to the club.

The Sun reports that the 31-year-old could return to the Perth club on loan from Hibs.
