CELTIC’S latest transfer target is reported to be £4million-rated Olympiakos full-back Omar Elabdellaoui.

The 27-year-old Norwegian international is being eyed by Brendan Rodgers as a long-term replacement for Mikael Lustig, according to the Daily Record.

On the opposite flank, left-back Andrew Gutman looks close to joining the Hoops.

The American is set to fly to Glasgow to apply for a work permit, the Daily Mail reports.

The 22-year-old had had a trial with Rangers in recent weeks alongside compatriot Matt Polster, who has joined Steven Gerrard’s side for the training camp in Tenerife in a bid to win a deal.

Three players could be set to leave the Hoops on loan.

Lewis Morgan, wanted by Sunderland and Hibs, has been freed to find first-team action elsewhere and the same goes for defender Jack Hendry and midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu.

Ayr United striker Lawrence Shankland is a wanted man, with a number of clubs linked with a January move for the in-form hitman.

But boss Ian McCall has warned that no players will be leaving the club this summer.

Rangers and Celtic are thought to be keen on the 23-year-old, as well as Sunderland and Swansea.
