Torrential rain hitting the UK is set to sweep across Scotland over the next couple of days.
Most of the country will dodge the worst of the conditions, but Edinburgh and the Lothians, as well as the Borders coast, are covered by a Met Office yellow weather warning.

Forecasters have put the warning in place from Wednesday morning until Thursday lunchtime.
It means there’s a chance of localised flooding and disruption to travel.
Parts of England and Wales have seen torrential downpours, with around 44 flood alerts put in place over the past couple of days.
Conditions in Scotland don’t look to be as bad, but the rainy summer will continue well into next week.
