
PRINCE HARRY and Meghan Markle have revealed their choice of wedding cake.
The couple have chosen pastry chef Claire Ptak, who owns London bakery Violet, to create their cake.

A tweet from Kensington Palace confirmed the news and added that Claire, who was raised in California, has been asked to make a lemon elderflower cake that will ‘incorporate the bright flavours of spring.’
Meghan Markle has previously interviewed Claire for her former lifestyle website The Tig. The chef is know for focusing on using seasonal and organic produce.
The announcement has been given the thumbs up from celebrity chef Nigella Lawson.

The royal couple will wed on May 19 at Windsor Castle.
