THE QUEEN will be attending a number of events in Perthshire this week.
Her Majesty, accompanied by His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, will join the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders for lunch at Stirling Castle on July 5.

The same day, The Queen will open the Queen Elizabeth II Canal at the Helix in Falkirk.

The monarch will open Highland Spring’s new £30 million bottling plant at Blackford on July 6.

The week’s events will also include an official visit to the Palace of Holyroodhouse from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
