Pet of the Week: Could you give Marley a brand new forever home?

Despite his sweet nature, sadly Marley the crossbreed has been in the care of the Scottish SPCA for over 200 days and is still looking for his forever home.

He settles well in a home environment and loves sitting on the couch to receive love and attention.

Marley does need further training to socialise nicely with other dogs and must be muzzled for walks. He wears one without any hassle and will happily put it on as he knows it means he’s going out! Going outside is his favourite thing and he walks nicely when wearing a harness.

Marley responds really well to treats and knows basic commands like sit, stay and can even give both paws. He also loves playing and his favourite game is tug-of-war.

He will require help improving upon his existing manners but he’s fully house trained. He will need an adult only home without other dogs or cats.
