Meet the Instagran: Amy Mackie, 48, Aberdeen, shares her favourite snaps

Post Thumbnail

Mother and grandmother Amy Mackie, 48, lives in Aberdeen with husband Kevin, 43.

She runs, cycles, walks her three Labradors and, when there’s any time left, she works full-time in publishing. Here she shares this month’s photographs…

My birthday!

Having a January birthday isn’t always the best, but I’m lucky as it’s right at the end of the month, so everyone has usually survived the excesses of the festive season and is ready for more cake!

Here’s the cake my lovely hubby Kevin organised for my birthday, complete with a few pictures of me, and him, over the years.

Apparently I’ve not changed much, even though I’m around 10 years old in the bottom left.

My girls

Here are just a few of our lovely children, my daughters Cameron, left, and Jessica, with our grand-daughter, Ava, three, when they joined us at the beach for a walk one Saturday.

We’re lucky to have such a large family, and they get involved in the crazy things we get up to!

My dogs

These three are a huge part of our lives and bring us so much joy.

Floyd on the left is the baby at nine, and Lennox in the middle is the old man of almost 14.

Bruno is in the middle in age terms, at 11, and he and Floyd have started joining us at our other passion in life – Parkrun.

Nanny power!

Ava calls me Nanny, as we’re a step-family so she has numerous family members to navigate her way around.

Here she is waiting for me towards the end of a Parkrun, she was delighted by the notion of giving Nanny a high five as I ran past!
