
RANGERS look set to bolster their striking options with Jermain Defoe reportedly close to joining the club on loan.
Sky Sports say that the 36-year-old former England international will join the Ibrox side on an 18-month loan deal.

The Bournemouth striker has found first team opportunities limited this season and had been given permission by the Cherries to find another club.
Defoe, who played alongside Rangers boss Steven Gerrard for England and also shares the same agent, has been praised by Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe for his work ethic, despite only featuring eight times this season.
