BEMUSED shoppers were met with all sorts of characters from film, TV and comics as they walked through the doors of intu Braehead today.
Thousands of sci-fi fans have descended on the shopping mall, many in full costume, for the Film and Comic Con Glasgow event being held in the centre’s arena.
The event, which continues tomorrow, has seen hundreds of stalls set up selling movie memorabilia and rare comics.
There’s also a whole host of fun activities including photo shoots, panels and autograph sessions.
Attending the event are the likes of former Bionic Woman, Doctor Who and EastEnders star Michelle Ryan, Red Dwarf’s Robert Llewellyn and former Doctor Colin Baker.
A number of Game of Thrones stars will also be at the event, as well as ITV WOS Wrestling stars Lionheart, Adam Maxted, Rampage Brown and SoCal Val.
Marketing manager for intu Braehead David Lyon said: “This Film and Comic Con is one of the most eye-catching events we have at intu Braehead and we look forward to it every year.
“Shoppers just love to see the fans dressed in their amazing costumes and you just never know who you’re going to bump into!”
