THE first images of former Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale in her I’m a Celebrity outfit have been released.
Ms Dugdale has landed in Australia and is expected to enter the famous jungle tonight (Tuesday 21st November).
The politician’s decision to take part in the ITV reality show has divided opinion, even among Labour leaders Jeremy Corbyn and Richard Leonard.
Ms Dugdale’s partner, SNP MSP Jenny Gilruth, wrote in The Daily Record that the Labour MSP had deliberately delayed her entry into the jungle to avoid clashing with the Scottish Labour leader announcement, but these plans had been foiled by a leak.
She also added that Ms Dugdale was ‘upset’ by some of the negative comments that have surrounded the I’m a Celebrity news.
She said: “I know she was upset by some of the hurtful things written about her. How could she not be?”
Tonight’s episode will see champion boxer Amir Khan take on a tense ‘Flushed Out’ challenge.
