GLASGOW AIRPORT is on a mission to reunite young passengers with teddies left behind on their travels.

The airport’s lost property office has seen an influx of soft toys, with 21 left in the last three months alone.

As part of the new campaign, they’ll be posting images of lost toys on social media in a bid to track down their owners.

Airport staff have also introduced a special ‘take care of my bear’ tag to be handed out to children travelling with their beloved cuddly friend.

A spokesman for Glasgow Airport said: “We hope that somebody will recognise their furry friend and collect them.

Are you on a bear hunt?

Anyone lost a teddy? These are the 21 furry friends that have been handed in to our lost property office at Luggage Point in the last three months, either left on flights or lost in the terminal. Can you help us reunite them with their owners? Tag, share and let us know if you recognise any of them.

“We’re just softies really, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure more bears don’t get mislaid which is why we’re introducing our new teddy bear tags.

“We can’t bear for any more teddies to go missing and we understand how traumatic it can be for any child and their parents.”
