A FUNDRAISING campaign has been launched for a bench in memory of the late Frightened Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison.
A Twitter account set up to share the JustGiving page for the project says it would be a “a place to meet, sing, gather your thoughts and celebrate the amazing love for Scott”.
The frontman of the popular Scottish band went missing on May 9, and his body was found on the banks of the River Forth later that week.
The goal is to raise £1500 for a memorial bench, which would be situated in one of Glasgow’s many parks.
It would include a plaque in honour of Scott, whose lyrics and music meant so much to so many people.
Any excess money raised from the fundraiser would go to mental health charities, a cause close to Scott’s heart.
The project has the blessing of Scott’s family.
