Aston Martin reveals personalisation options and Performance Pack for upcoming Valkyrie

Aston Martin has shown off some of the customisation and personalisation options that will be available for its Valkyrie hypercar, including a hardcore AMR Track Performance Pack.

The Performance Pack includes a set of track-biased, non-road-legal components for owners who wish to use their Valkyrie for circuit driving. They include a new front end for greater downforce plus an entire second set of external body panels. There’s also an even more hardcore suspension set-up plus a new titanium brake package. Forged magnesium wheels with carbon fibre aero covers are included too.

Aston Martin claims that the Performance Pack could improve the Valkyrie’s lap times by up to eight per cent, depending on the track. Best of all, the components are totally interchangeable with the standard road parts, so customers don’t need to commit to buying a non-road-legal car.

Three AMR-tailored livery designs will be offered to customers who opt for the Performance Pack, though for an additional fee Aston Martin’s bespoke Q division will apply just about anything a customer asks for.

That applies to road-going Valkyries, too – Q division exists to give Aston Martin’s wealthiest customers the ability to distinguish themselves from the masses with myriad personalisation options.

Customers can choose the finish of the roof and rear engine cover, as well as body colour and livery, while inside there’s a wide choice of Alcantara finishes for the seats, different colours for the harnesses and even different materials for the switchgear.

Aston Martin, of course, is keen to kerb the wackier excesses of its buyers, encouraging them to choose one of four ‘Designer’ themes, available in Slipstream Green, Liquid Petroleum, Ethanol Silver and Maximum Orange.

Q will also offer some seriously special finishes, including a Gold Pack which features a gold leaf livery laid underneath the paint lacquer.

Aston Martin’s chief creative officer Marek Reichman said: “This is simply the best car in the world if you want something bespoke and we are really pushing the boundaries to match the dreams of our customers. Every single element of this hypercar, including its performance, can be personalised. The materials are very much about science, the art of creativity and the ability to create a unique solution that doesn’t detract from this exceptional car’s performance capability.”
