Andy Serkis has to be one of the most talented and versatile actors currently working in movies.
Despite starring in some of the biggest blockbusters of recent years, including the epic Lord Of The Rings trilogy, Andy can walk down the street without being recognised.
This is because most of his acting roles use CGI technology, known as Performance Capture, to turn him into creatures such as Gollum and King Kong.
Andy physically does all acting with the other performers and his movements and emotions give the character real heart and believability.
This weekend saw the release of possibly his greatest ever creation, Caesar the ape, in Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.
Andy steals every scene, and without him the movie, which is a cracker, would just be another run-of-the-mill summer popcorn flick.
Andy gives the film real depth and he deserves an Oscar nod.
