Christmas tree decorations

25 g (1 oz) butter
25 g (1 oz) Fruisana Fruit Sugar
1 tbsp treacle
2 tbsp syrup
150 g (5 oz) plain flour
½ tsp each of baking powder and ground ginger
Icing, icing sugar, silver balls, ribbon


Preheat oven to 180C, 350F or gas mark 4. 
Melt butter, Fruisana, treacle and syrup together then cool. Sift flour, baking powder and ginger into a bowl and stir into butter mix to make a dough. Roll out until 5 mm (¼ in) thick and cut out Christmas tree shapes. Remember to make a hole to thread ribbon through if you plan to hang up the biscuits. Bake on greased baking trays for 10 minutes. Decorate with icing, silver balls and ribbon and dust with icing sugar.
