Jamaican Jazz

Ingredients

4 large or 6 small Jazz apples
1 tbsp Jamaican curry paste
1 x 200 g tub cream cheese
Juice of 1 lime
1 small onion, diced finely
1 bunch coriander, chopped
1 chilli, deseeded and chopped finely (optional)
Jerk or hot sauce

Score around apples to create a spiral pattern. Push onto skewers and brush with curry paste. Heat a griddle pan, grill or barbecue until medium hot and cook apples for 10 minutes, or until starting to brown and soften. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese with lime juice, onion, coriander and chilli, if using. Add hot sauce to taste. Serve apples with cream cheese dip.
