| Barbecued prawns and bananas |
Ingredients:
(Serves 2)
3 tbsp soy sauce
25 g (1 oz) sugar
˝ tsp grated root ginger
175 ml (6 fl oz) pineapple juice
16 large tiger prawns, peeled
2 bananas, cut into chunks
1 red and 1 green pepper, cut into chunks
8 small mushrooms (optional)
Mix soy sauce, sugar, ginger and juice. Add some salt and pepper. Thread prawns, bananas, peppers and mushrooms, if using, onto skewers. Brush with sauce and barbecue for 4 to 6 minutes. Serve with remaining sauce.
