Banoffee syrup sundae

Ingredients

50 g (2 oz) butter
2 tbsp Lyle’s Squeezy Syrup
2 tbsp Tate & Lyle Soft Brown Cane Sugar
2 tbsp double cream or full fat milk
4 digestive biscuits
2 bananas, sliced
4 scoops vanilla ice cream or 1 x 400 g can custard

Place butter, syrup and sugar in pan and melt slowly. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and stir in cream or milk. Cool. Crumble biscuits into four sundae glasses and layer in banana, toffee sauce and ice cream or custard.
