Help us to help them

£25,000 and counting!

THANKS TO the generosity of our kind-hearted readers our total has broken the £25,000 barrier.

Since we launched the appeal four weeks ago donations from £5 to £5000 have dropped through our office letterbox — and we assure you every last penny is appreciated and will go to help the sick children at the very heart of this campaign.
Most donations have come in the form of personal cheques and postal orders — but why not encourage friends, family and colleagues to get involved? And have some fun in the process.
Ideas
If you want to raise some money — but are stuck for an idea on how to do it — why not follow the lead of the Crieff Fifty Plus Art Group who raised £117 by hosting an exhibition and coffee morning?
Like them you could organise an event, or what about a jumble sale? Liven up a dull Monday at work with a coffee morning or dress-down day. Or sell unwanted items at a car boot sale and turn your rubbish into our appeal’s treasure.
There are many ways you could raise funds. Get sponsored to lose weight, or climb a hill, or go abseiling, or run 10K. We don’t mind how you do it, but we’d love to hear your story. And, of course, use your money to help sick children across Scotland.
