Rally
Round
STIRLING and District Car Club is holding a classic car rally today in aid of our appeal, with enthusiasts from all over Scotland gathering to show off their vehicles.
Around 350 vehicles are expected to be on display, including a 1923 Durant Star, Ferrari 308 and Lotus Elan along with classic motorcycles, tractors and lorries. Other attractions include The Bowling Harbour ceilidh band and the pipes and drums of the Balaclava band. The police, fire and ambulance services will also be giving displays.
The club, now in its fifth year, decided to support our appeal after reading about the campaign for Robin House, and realising the hospice was due to open around the same time as their annual rally.
Entry is £3 per person on the gate at Strathallan Games Park, Bridge of Allan, from 11 am – 4 pm.
