The 76 children aged between six and 15 regularly perform on stages across the country in productions such as Joseph And His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Tommy. They gather two or three days a week at Bearsden Baptist Church to practise for their various auditions.

Ann and some of her pupils present their cheque to Linda Brown of CHAS.

After the busy festive season, the kids decided to put all their collective talents to good use and put on their own special performance in aid of CHAS with the help of their tutor Ann Edmonds.
Ann said, “All the kids who come to the school are healthy and able, so we thought that it’d be nice to support The Sunday Post’s CHAS appeal. Raising the money was really fun.”
The performances attracted about 200 people a night, raising more than the kids had dreamed of.
