SANTA TOOK the unconventional route to RAF Leuchars this year — arriving by helicopter.
And no sooner could he say “Ho, ho, ho” than he’d made the day for a group of Rachel House children.
Every year, the generous guys at RAF Leuchars hold their Extra Special Children’s Christmas Party. More than 400 children from Fife, Tayside and Angus arrive at the RAF base with their carers for a fun-filled Christmas party.
And amongst them was an excited group of youngsters from Rachel House, all set for a
cracking time.
Freefall
The day got off to a spectacular start with a freefall parachute display by the Paragon Skydiving Team, followed by a demonstration of stunt motorcycling.
RAF Leuchars is extremely grateful to everyone who help with the event. And Rachel House is full of praise for the kindness displayed by RAF Leuchars for the hard work and effort they put in to
organising the party and the tremendous support they give Rachel House.
Morag Rhodes from CHAS said, “The event was really well organised and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The kids had a fantastic time.”
