CHAS cake shows cash wasn’t self-raising

By Kathryn Mainds

CHILDREN AND their families at Rachel House yesterday cut a special cake to mark two years of outstanding generosity from you, our readers.
The kids, carers and families gathered to celebrate the astounding success of The Sunday Post’s CHAS Campaign.
And the great big smile on little Erin Oman’s face really said it all.

Erin’s eyes light up as Agnes
prepares to cut the special cake.

Agnes Malone, from CHAS, beamed, “We are absolutely delighted and so grateful to The Sunday Post for their tremendous contribution and commitment over the past two years.
“When we open the paper every week it’s amazing to see the different things people are doing to raise money for CHAS — they are so innovative!
“From small children to grannies and grandpas, community groups to individuals, everyone is doing their bit and we are so thankful.
“The Sunday Post CHAS Campaign has really helped raise awareness.
“We’re getting a great response from people all over the world who have read the paper or the website and read about CHAS.
“And we particularly want to thank Baynes Bakery in Kinross who kindly baked and gifted the cake.”
