Fashion show will include a different
sort of model
By Sarah Johnson
ON WEDNESDAY Jenners at Lomond Shores is hosting a fashion show to raise money for our campaign — and you can be part of their ‘Special Evening For A Special Cause’.
It’ll be a great night, but one of the models isn’t the sort you might expect.
A lone piper will welcome guests as they are offered a glass of champagne and canapes. Johnny Beattie will be master of ceremonies with guests enjoying four fashion sets.
There will be dancers from the renowned Sutherland School of Dance, a number of Scottish celebrities including Fred MacAulay and a fabulous singing trio will close the evening.
There will also be a raffle and an auction, with the prizes including two nights accommodation at nearby Cameron House, facials, cosmetic gift boxes and other generous donations from the various counters in Jenners.
But, for anyone who’s been wondering what all this fund-raising is going to achieve, a scale model of the new hospice, Robin House, will be on display, too.
Eileen Paton from Jenners said, “This a charity that is close to all our hearts.
“I went to Rachel House about six months ago and it is such a happy, humbling place. We are doing all we can to help.”
The evening begins at 6.30-7 pm running until 9.30. There are still tickets available at £20 each. You can buy them at the store or phone 01389 722200 to reserve them.
