Help us to help them

Would you like to own this car?

IT REALLY is a smart move to support The Sunday Post CHAS Appeal.
This week, the Buchanan Galleries shopping centre in Glasgow is hosting a prize draw to win a Smart car, donated by Smart of Glasgow, to mark the opening of their new showroom.
The £16,000 Crossblade model is a two-seater with a 599 cc turbo-charged engine, alloy wheels, leather upholstery and ABS.
Buchanan Galleries has adopted CHAS as its nominated charity for 2003 and the car prize draw is the latest in a series of fund-raising initiatives in aid of the Sunday Post CHAS appeal.

Striking
The striking and distinctive roofless car parked near the John Lewis store is one of only 2000 made worldwide.
Smart of Glasgow opened their showroom at the beginning of August within the Reg Vardy dealership in Glasgow’s Milton Street. Andrew Smith, general manager at Reg Vardy, approached Buchanan Galleries to offer the car for our campaign.
He said, “We wanted to organise a promotion to run in conjunction with the opening of our new showroom and make a worthwhile contribution to charity.”
At £1 a ticket, this is a sure-fire way of accelerating towards our fund-raising target. The car will be manned between 10 am and 4 pm all this week by CHAS staff and volunteers, with promotions for Smart cars running simultaneously. They will be delighted to see you as you pay your £1 for a chance to win.
Better hurry though, the winner will be chosen on Monday, August 25.
