Andy Cameron boost
for boxing night

The Philip Green Memorial Trust has secured one of Scotland’s most popular comedians, Andy Cameron, to entertain the crowd and conduct the auction at a gala boxing night in aid of our appeal.
Around 400 tickets at £100 a head have already been sold for the event, at Glasgow’s Hilton Hotel on Monday, October 27.

“I’m proud to be playing a part in raising money for the new hospice,” Andy enthuses. “The Sunday Post is to be congratulated for its efforts.”
The Philip Green Memorial Trust has pledged £250,000 towards a hydrotherapy unit at Robin House. Chairman Cyril Paskin said, “We held a successful boxing night in Glasgow last year but we’re still £50,000 short of the total needed.
“I’m confident that if the Glasgow crowd gets behind us we can reach our total. Andy will have magnificent items to auction. And there will be four good fights to enjoy.”
