WHEN ANN DOONER’S colleagues discussed raising money for CHAS, it was decided walking boots would be donned . . . and they’d get dressed
up.
“In the summer, 20 staff members from eight Scottish Microcom Centres, a company helping the unemployed back into work, walked around the island of Great Cumbrae,” said Ann, who is Microcom’s area manager in Paisley. “Then we sold raffle tickets, had a sponsored slim and by Halloween we’d raised £2500.
