Help us to help them

Jenners promise a
Shore thing

THE SHORES of Loch Lomond look set to be more instrumental in our campaign for CHAS than we first thought.
Not only is the new hospice to be built on the bonnie banks, it’s also set to receive generous donations from the very same place.
The new branch of Jenners at Loch Lomond Shores has decided to get behind our campaign.
Store manager Alison Smith explained, “We wanted to select a charity the store could support. We were previously contacted by a CHAS representative and knew they were in the process of raising funds for a new hospice in the Balloch area. Everyone thought it would be great to get involved.”
Last week the store invited Paul McGinley (21), of Glasgow, who has used the existing hospice at Kinross, to switch on their Christmas lights.
Alison said, “We all thought it was a very worthy cause and were pleased to be able to support something which would help the local community.
“Last week we formed our social and charity committee, which will oversee and organise fund-raising events. Our first meeting is next week and we can’t wait to get the ball rolling. In the meantime we’ve donated a Jenners hamper so CHAS can raise funds at one of their events in the near future.”
