All the President’s men — and money

MEMBERS OF Dundee and District Bowling Clubs Ex-Presidents Association bowled their way to success by raising £1000 towards our Hospice Appeal.
They held four special invitation games to celebrate their 50th anniversary and clubs from the ex-presidents associations of Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Stirling, Stonehaven and the Scottish, Angus and City of Dundee Bowling Associations hit the greens for what the members felt was a very deserving cause.

As Mike Dunning, secretary of the association explains, “We have been following the appeal in the paper.
“Every year, we have annual fixtures to raise funds for charity, and we felt the hospice was a very worthwhile cause.
“We asked participants in the tournaments if they would make a donation towards the hospice.”
